CPU (if OEM you will need Heatsink and fan, if retail usually comes with)

Thermal Paste (for connecting heatsink to CPU)

Memory (check for compatibility with motherboard)

Hard Drive

Floppy Drive

CD/DVD Drive

Graphics/Video Card

NTSC/PAL Tuner Card

HDTV Tuner Card

Remote Control (sometimes comes with Tuner card)

Audio Card (motherboard may already have adequate audio capability)

Card Reader (for reading memory cards)

Wireless/IR Keyboard and Mouse

Windows Media Center Operating System

Additional SW (video decoder,video editing SW, DVD burning SW, Anti-virus security SW...etc)

Get latest drivers (including BIOS updates, motherboard drivers, audio/video/tuner card driver updates, Windows updates...etc)
